I'm sending this email to express how pleased we are about the AG210SS solar hot water system. It is running alone with no other backup and is coping well, even with next to no sun.

I used the 3.5kVA inverter for the first time today, using an 1600watt electric chainsaw to cut up a medium sized gum tree. I was very pleased with it.

Our solar system is working well filling through heat exchanger during milking at about 25 degrees and heating on overcast days to 40 - 45 degrees. On clear hot days it has been into the 90s. Now summer is coming I should be getting higher readings.

We find the solar water heater to be very efficient and since we have had it installed for the past 5 months we have not needed to light our califont at all - even when we had an extra 8 people staying with us over the Christmas period. We are so pleased to have amazingly hot water, even when the sun is not shining bright the water still gets and stays hot. Wonderful!!! Many thanks for your great service.

Thanks for the great service you gave us when we contacted you for a gas water heater. It is installed and working a treat, my daughter and son-in-law are thrilled to have hot water. I have had no hesitation in recommending your Company to friends who are building a bach later in the year just down the road from us.

Your exceptional service and backup of your products (even when not legally obliged to do so) has been fantastic. We got through the winter using only solar water, solar power and a fireplace to keep the family cosy. We'll be back.

I have to say that so far the Outback Off-grid system has performed beyond what I thought it would. We have changed very little about how we use electricity from when we were on grid. All in all, a great system. Even the sparky was greatly impressed. Anyway, a great job on your part and please convey a big thank you to your staff for assembling such a good system and their phone support over the last 12 months.

I just wanted to say thank you for the help you gave me with my new 130 litre low pressure solar hot water cylinder. It is absolutely fantastic. I would totally agree with the 40% power saving that has been reported. Since installing the solar hot water cylinder our average power bill has decreased from around $150 a month to $90. I have had absolutely no problems with the hot water cylinder since I installed it, (everything was in the box that you said would be) and the water pressure has actually increased from when we had our mains powered hot water cylinder. I would urge anyone who is scared of giving low cost solar hot water cylinders a go to try it. In total on the whole system I have spent about $1500 including the cylinder, hot water tempering valve, piping and fittings, wetback element for my fire and wetback adapter for the cylinder itself. I estimate to have payback in 1.5 to 2 years. Throughout the summer I averaged 50-70 degree hot water and did not require the backup electric element at all. We often had up to 5 adults staying in the house over weekends and had more than enough hot water to go around. I am now excited to continue my low cost off-grid mission, and am looking to install a wind turbine and solar panel. I will start with running the house lights and plug circuits off wind and solar, leaving the oven and fridges to run off mains power.

Just a quick note to thank you and your team for the latest piece of assistance. Since buying the 3kw Outback inverter, batteries and solar panels in mid 2007 the system has been running non-stop here in the Far North for two years without any major problems at all. When we have had minor issues I have really appreciated the help from your team at What Power Crisis, especially since the help involved me ringing and needing assistance there and then. In particular I have been impressed by the team's knowledge of the system and willingness to help - even when that involved assistance with connecting the system to components that I didn't purchase through What Power Crisis (but would in the future!) such as the generator. Thanks again to you and the team and I look forward to many more years of alternative power as we tune the system and the technology evolves. Cheers.

Since the 'Paratrooper' folding mountain bike arrived I've had a day and a half off work. Great bike!

We found your ad in the newspaper for a solar hot water system designed for a bach. We had warm water in four hours after connection and hot water the next day. A fantastic system! We are so pleased to be using the sun at long last.

After years of looking, WPC have supplied us with the perfect system for our needs. We are two people living totally off-grid. The three solar panels, Air Breeze wind turbine backed up by a Kipor generator (which we hardly ever need) give us all the power we need, and more. We look forward to the time we can feed back into the national grid! The Outback system gives us all the information we need to control and regulate the power supply. One Villa 16 panel and wetback attachment give us all our hot water. Life is Good. Thank you Dave, Karl and Mark who installed our system, for your help, patience and after-installation advice. For people in the North considering doing something similar we would be happy to show you our set-up.
